Petitioner is in custody in connection with Complaint Case No. C-2/400 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

It is alleged that total 116.700 liters of foreign liquor was seized from the cattle house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 14.6.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45965 of 2019(2) dt.25-07-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with Complaint Case No. C-2/400 of 2019.
