JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 04-02-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is in custody since 04.04.2022 in connection with Baligaon P.S. Case No. 16 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has been arrested in an F.I.R. registered against unknown for looting a phone and Rs. 1,37,000. The petitioner has five cases against him of similar nature.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that one co-accused, namely, Chandan Paswan has been granted bail in whose confessional statement the petitioner was named.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49248 of 2022(3) dt.04-02-2023 2/2 Considering the above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, therefore, it is rejected. The District Judge, Vaishali is directed to transfer all the cases in one Court and expedite the trial of the petitioner in all cases.
