The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Two packets of grains were found short in the PDS godown of the petitioner when it was suspected that the grains were being sold in the black market.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the inspection was made on 02.10.2015 when the PDS dealership license of the petitioner was cancelled on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4616 of 2016 (2) dt.03-02-2016 2/2 14.10.2015 whereas the FIR was registered on 26.11.2015. Considering the nature of irregularity, PDS dealership being cancelled prior to the registration of the FIR and the petitioner being a lady, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Patahi P.S.
