Petitioner seeks bail in Kharik P.S. Case No.217 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a)(c), 38(I) (II) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Counsel for the petitioner submits that from seizure list it will appear that total 1850.760 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of Pappu Rai. Petitioner has been made accused merely on the basis that his name has been disclosed by the villagers. There is no recovery of any illicit liquor from his conscious possession. Petitioner is having clean antecedents.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise, Bhagalpur, in connection with Kharik P.S.
