The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,149,341,342,323,324,307,332,333,353,427,504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution case is that the police received information that the mob is making protest against the death of a person in a road accident when the police reached on the spot, the mob pelted stones and damaged the police vehicle. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not been named in the FIR. His name sprang up during investigation and the accusation is against the mob though the accusation of leading the mob is against co accused
