This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Agam Kuan Police Station Case No. 140 of 2016, disclosing offences under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the grave nature of the offences involved, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail, since his custodial interrogation may be required by the police.
This application for anticipatory bail, is hereby, rejected.
The petitioner, Suresh Prasad, is directed to
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25623 of 2017 (2) dt.07-07-2017 2/2 surrender before the Court below within a period of two weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered by the learned Court below on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
