The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madanpur P.S. Case No. 158 of 2021 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

140.00 litres of spirit is said to have been recovered from a vehicle, the driver of which disclosed that the petitioner had run away at the time of raid.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd A.D.J.-Cum-Special Judge, Excise, Aurangabad in connection with Madanpur P.S. Case No. 158 of 2021. The application stands allowed.
