JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 27-03-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner, already in custody since 15.1.2018 seeks bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 2412 of 2006 registered under Sections 342 and 437 of the Indian penal Code. Petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in the year 2008 in a case lodged by the complainant in the year 2006, but he did not surrender and remained absconding after 12 years, he was apprehended by the police and is in custody since 15.01.2018. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial as it's a case of the year 2006, if trial is not concluded within six months, the petitioner may renew prayer of bail.
