The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 447, 323, 324, 325, 307, 354(B), 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petition with regard to petitioner No. 2 namely Pawan Thakur.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61605 of 2021(4) dt.19-07-2022 2/3 Permission is accorded.
Accordingly, the petition with respect to petitioner No. 2 is dismissed as withdrawn.
The accusations are of making assault, outraging the modesty and snatching gold ornament. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners and the informant are agnates and in the background of some land dispute, this false case has been lodged against the petitioners. There is counter version of the occurrence also and petitioners' side also received injuries. There is no accusation of repeating the blow. Except one injury, all the injuries are simple in nature. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioners have no criminal antecedents.
