JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-11-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner for quashing the order as contained in Memo No. 75 dated 9th May 2014 whereby the direction has been given by the District Magistrate, Arwal to the Officer-in-Charge, Arwal to keep the licensee 12 bore DBBGL gun of the petitioner at the police station till further order for which the arms license stands in the nature of the petitioner and also for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to release the 12

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances as also for revocation of the order of suspension qua his arms license. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate petition is filed before the appropriate authority, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be decided on merits, without the concerned authority being impeded by the issue of limitation and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed thereon, forthwith.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
