This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Shastri Nagar P.S. Case No. 210 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced before me an order dated 09.09.2021 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.3911 of 2021, by which, similarly situated co-accused namely, Sanjiv Kumar, has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.
For the reasons mentioned in the order dated
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6780 of 2021(2) dt.26-11-2021 2/2 09.09.2021 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.3911 of 2021, this application is also allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna, in connection with Shastri Nagar P.S.
