====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-12-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 420, 406, 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, 21 accused persons including this petitioner took deposits from several persons including the informant and misappropriated the collected amount under the garb of depositing the same in Swarn India Multi State Cerdit Co-operative Society Limited.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner was Branch Manager of the Bank and he resigned from the post on 1.12.2014 itself. Petitioner has got no concern with the affairs of the company. Charge sheet has already been filed. Petitioner is in custody since 16.1.2024.
5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
