The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414, 429, 353, 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 11(1)(d) of The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
Prosecution case is that on information that traffic of animals is being made, one truck was intercepted, when six persons namely Md. Aasif, Sawez Quraishi, Md. Masook, Vinod Kumar Prajapati, Siddik Sheikh and Vinod Mal were apprehended from there, who disclosed the name of the petitioner and others, who used to run the business. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61448 of 2017(2) dt.19-12-2017 2/2 roped maliciously in the present case. Though the petitioner is accused in three other cases, but in all the cases, he is on bail. Considering the fact that the petitioner was not apprehended from the spot, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-I, Siwan, in connection with Siswan P.S. Case No. 175/2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
