The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences punishable under Section 3/7 of the Essential commodities Act. As per the allegation, his truck loaded with wheat was seized only on the ground that bags bear the stamp of Punjab Government whereas the petitioner claims that he has purchased wheat from local farmers. It is submitted that he had also purchased 1000 old empty bags from M/s. Jai Maa Laxmi Mill. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Sidharth Kumar, be released on bail in the event of arrest/surrender before the court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36861 of 2014 (2) dt.20-02-2015 2 / 2 within a period of six weeks from today in Jhajha P.S. Case No.178 of 2013, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Jamui subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
