Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.1021C/17 , registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 420, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the complaint petition, allegation against the petitioner is that he is a Postmaster in the village and the complainant approached for depositing the amount of Rs.2 lac in the post office but the petitioner discouraged her from depositing the amount in the post office and asked her to deposit the amount in Weird Infrastructure Corporation Ltd., in

No.46625 of 2019(2) dt.29-07-2019 2/3 which she will get the amount doubled in 47 months and 72 months and as such she handed over the amount to the petitioner to deposit the same in the Weird Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. and she got two certificates issued from the above Weird Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. but on maturity when she approached to return the amount, she found that the Company has closed its office.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is a postmaster and there is nothing on the record to show that he has role in depositing the money whereas the certificates show signatories are of the company and furthermore he is a postmaster there is no chance of his absconding and he will co-operate in the trial. Heard learned A.P.P. and the learned counsel for the complainant., who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that the petitioner is a person who got the amount deposited in the Weird Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. and the company has closed his office. .
Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, and also considering the fact that he is postmaster and there is no chance of evading, as such

No.46625 of 2019(2) dt.29-07-2019 3/3 , let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sri A.Ranjan, J.M. 1st Class, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Complaint Case No.1021 C/ 2017, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
