2. The petitioner is father of Rajni Kant Dwivedi, who had passed 10th Examination of 2015 held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (hereinafter referred as to the Board). In the Grade-sheet issued by the Board, father's name of the examinee has been entered as 'Rajendra Dwivedi' in place of 'Rasendra Dwivedi' as is being claimed by the petitioner.
3. The petitioner had applied for correction in the said entry made by the Board in the Grade-sheet, which has been rejected by the Regional Office, Patna of the Board communicated through letter, dated 08.12.2016, on the ground
Patna High Court CWJC No.1324 of 2017(2) dt.11-12-2017 2/2 that the application made by the petitioner was time barred.
4. Indisputably, the period for making request for correction has been extended to five years.
5. In that view of the matter, this application is being remanded back to the Regional Officer, Regional Office, Central Board of Secondary Education, Patna to reconsider the petitioner's case and decide the request for correction on the basis of the document which the petitioner is relying on within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, along with a fresh representation.
6. This application stands disposed of.
