This is a petition for grant of regular bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 176 of 2017 for offences under Sections 341, 323, 504, 448, 420 and 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 4, 5, 6 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Allegation, in brief, is that the petitioner made acquaintance with the prosecutrix since 2014 and was having love affairs and on the pretext of marriage used to establish sexual relationship.

It is submitted that both the petitioner and the prosecutrix are neighbour and the girl is also major. As per statement she is 19 years of age and this is a case of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18801 of 2018(2) dt.02-04-2018 2/2 prosecution that both were in love affairs and it was a consensual relationship.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 176 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge Icum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, Muzaffarpur. (Arun Kumar, J) Shamshad/- U T
