JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-12-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 120B and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, this petitioner was selected as a Panchayat Teacher at a Primary School in Jamui on the basis of fake and forged Intermediate marksheet. Learned counsel for the petitioner denies the prosecution case and submits that at the time of appointment petitioner submitted all the relevant documents and after due verification by the competent authority petitioner was appointed. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49787 of 2022(2) dt.15-12-2022 2/2 Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail application submitting that petitioner was selected as a Panchayat Teacher but during course of verification of documents submitted by him, it was found that the Intermediate marksheet is forged.

Considering the aforesaid facts, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be considered and disposed of on its own merit without prejudice.
