JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 31-07-2019 This application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been field by the petitioner for directing the respondents to release the vehicle of the petitioner bearing Registration No.BR01BS-3907 seized in connection with Muzaffarpur Rail P.S. Case No.15 of 2019 registered inter alia under Sections 8 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.

2. In view of an equally efficacious statutory remedy being available to the petitioner under Section 451 of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the court of Special Judge, Muzaffarpur

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1131 of 2019 dt.31-07-2019 2/2 for the redressal of his grievance, I am not inclined to entertain this application filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

3. The application is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the court concerned and pray for release of the vehicle.
