2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 396 of 2022 arising out of Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 22 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 30(iii) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 07.07.2023 and there is recovery of 500 litres of country made mahua from his possession.

4. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

5. Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 396 of 2022 arising out of Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 22 of 2022.

The petitioner will visit Masaurhi Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
