By the order under contempt dated 02.01.2023 passed in CWJC No. 17523 of 2022, it was directed that the salary of teachers shall not be withheld on any excuse and the arrears of salary shall also be released, if the same has not been released within the stipulated period, the teachers would be entitled to receive interest on arrears of the amount of salary @ 9%.

3. A show cause affidavit has been filed and the amount of the petitioner for the period he worked has been paid.

4. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has serious reservation with regard to the calculation of the amount and its mode and manner, for which he seeks liberty to assail the same.

5. In view of the submissions advanced by the learned Advocates for the respective parties and considering the averments made in the show cause affidavit, this Court does not find any reason or occasion to continue with the present contempt petition. Accordingly, the same stands closed with the liberty aforesaid.
