In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No.19 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30 (a) (c) (d) of Bihar Excise Prohibition Act, 2016.

The police has intercepted three motorcycles and 192 liters of liquor has been recovered, but the petitioners fled away and one person has been arrested by the police, who has named the petitioners, however, counsel for the petitioners submits that the name of the petitioners has come in the

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioners surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order preferably on the same day without being influenced by the order of this Court.
