This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Vidhyapati Nagar P.S. Case No. 139 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 149, 307, 323, 341, 379, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are said to have participated in the fight over a land dispute. Petitioner no.1 is said to have assaulted one Umashankar Giri with fists and slaps. There is no allegation against the petitioner nos. 2 and 3. It is submitted that no case under Section 307 of the IPC is made out against these petitioners.
