The petitioner has been in custody since 10.01.2018 in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 873/17 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petitioner has been dragged on the basis of a confessional statement made before the police by one Sudhir Kumar Mehta which has no evidentiary value and no recovery has been made from his possession. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that he has also no criminal antecedent. Taking into consideration, the aforementioned facts, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25308 of 2018 (3) dt.26-04-2018 2/2 bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 873/17.
