14-01-2016 Learned A.C. to Standing Counsel - 28, in view of facts disclosed in the counter affidavit, submits that till date no final decision has been taken in respect of the claim of the petitioner for being appointed on compassionate ground. In the present writ petition, the petitioner has claimed for being appointed on compassionate ground, since his father, who was a Havildar, died in harness on 15-03-2005. Though, steps were taken, till date no final decision has been taken regarding appointment on compassionate ground.

Without recording any opinion on the merit of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of with an observation that whatever decision the respondents want to take, it must be taken
