The petitioner is accused in connection with Patrakarnagar P.S. Case No. 220/2015 registered under Sections 414, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution case is that two persons were seen on a motorcycle in suspicious condition. When the police asked them to stop the motorcycle, then both tried to flee away but one caught hold who disclosed his name Pince Kumar @ Prince Kumar Sanyal @ Sanyal @ Prince @ Sanyal. He did not produce any paper regarding the motorcycle TVS Apache which was found with him. On query, the petitioner also disclosed that the seized motorcycle was stolen one.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57494 of 2015 (3) dt.18-02-2016 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in fact the petitioner was the pillion rider of the motorcycle. One person succeeded to flee away but the petitioner caught hold by the police. Further submission is that the petitioner is accused in one another case in which he is on bail. The petitioner is in custody since 21.07.2015 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt. Kiran Chaturvedi, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Patna in connection with Patrakarnagar P.S. Case No. 220/2015. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
