2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 379, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Allegation against this petitioner is that he alongwith four other co-accused persons assaulted the informant with slaps and after snatching key of motorcycle, gold chain and cash worth Rs. 16,360/- from him, they assaulted the informant with iron rod causing injury on his head and thereafter, fled away with the motorcycle of informant.

4. Petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and he has got one criminal antecedent of similar nature.

5. Considering the same, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
