The petitioner has been in custody since 04.03.2018 in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 77 of 2012 for the offence registered under Sections 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the case is of the year 2012, all of a sudden, the petitioner has been taken into custody even though there is nothing to connect the petitioner with the alleged occurrence. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been taken into custody on mere suspicion after a lapse of six years.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25038 of 2018 (2) dt.25-04-2018 the case and that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M., Sherghati (Gaya) in connection with Barachatti P.S.
