2. This Court will not delay the matter of the petitioner, who is a retired employee, aged about 84 years. He is also worried about his wife, who is an old lady and in case of any casualty, his wife, who is alived, shall be entitled for family pension.

3. In view of communications made by the Accountant General with the Bank that the petitioner is entitled

Patna High Court CWJC No.11287 of 2023(5) dt.06-11-2023 2/2 for 20% enhanced pension, which he has been receiving, in view of the government circular contained in Annexure - '1' bearing Memo No.755 dated 20.10.2017, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the State Bank of India, Chief Branch, Bhagalpur to get all the formalities done forthwith with respect to revision of the pension of the petitioner, who has attained the age of 84 years. In case, the Branch Manager finds it proper, he must consult with the Treasury Officer or any other competent authority.

4. All the processes must be initiated and in case of any formality is required, the Branch Manager of the Bank must authorize a competent officer to get all the formalities etc. fulfilled so that in future no hindrance is caused.

5. The above exercise is directed to be carried out within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

6. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
