JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 04-02-2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is allowed to make necessary correction in the cause-title in view of the fact that the husband of the petitioner has died in the year 2005. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel for the State.

In this case, the petitioner is seeking a relief for payment of Rs. 3,86,464/- as she has claimed it as an admitted amount. The short fact of this case is that the husband of the petitioner was awarded the work to install boring at different places

Patna High Court CWJC No.494 of 2016 dt.04-02-2017 under the scheme in the district of Begusarai in the year 1990-91. In terms of the work order, the husband of the petitioner installed 71 borings within the stipulated period but, the payment of Rs. 3,86,464/- has not been given to the petitioner and, for that, the lady has been compelled to approach this Court.

The admitted due of the petitioner has not been denied by the State in the counter affidavit.

In that view of the matter, let the District Magistrate, Begusarai examine the case of the petitioner and release the admitted amount along with 7% simple interest from the date of completion of the work till the date of actual payment without any delay preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
