Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A, 323, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and u/s 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. It is jointly submitted on behalf of the parties that the matter has been resolved through mediation and in view of settlement a demand draft bearing serial No. 117226, dated 26.08.2022, for Rs. Two lac, as first installment, has been handed over to Mr. Paras Nath, the learned counsel for the complainant.
