The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Subodh Kumar, the brother of the husband of the victim of dowry death, has already been allowed bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide Annexure3. The petitioner is father-in-law of the victim. The allegation is general and omnibus of demand of dowry and torture for the same.

Submission is that the informant has filed a compromise petition in this case. Hence, fate of the trial is well known.

No.27557 of 2018 (2) dt.07-05-2018 P2/ Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case No.135 of 2016, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
