The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1[A] For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to appoint the petitioners as Gram Kachahri Sachiv in any Nagar Panchayat/Municipal area within Purnea District after giving preference and weightage as per Bihar

Patna High Court CWJC No.11180 of 2023(2) dt.18-12-2023 2/3 Kachahri Sachiv (Niyojan, Sewashart and duty) Rule 2014 taking into account that petitioner were appointed in the year 2008, 2007 & 2007 respectively as per Bihar Gram Kachahri Sachiv (Niyojan, sewashart and duties) Niyamawali, 2007 as Gram Kachahri Sachiv in different Gram Panchayat under Banmankhi Block District- Purnea and worked to the satisfaction of all concern for more than fifteen years prior to their termination on account of non existence of Gram Panchayat and its merger and upgrading in Nagar Panchayat/Municipal area.

[B] For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or commanding the respondents to appoint/absorb the petitioners as Gram Kachahri Sachiv in any Nagar Panchayat/Municipal area within Purnea District on the vacant and existing post of Gram Kachahri Sachiv which is apparent from vacancy chart annexed with Memo No- 5381 dated 15-05-2023 issued by Department of Panchayati Raj, Govt. of Bihar, Patna and sent to all the District Magistrates as well as all the District Panchayati Raj Officers"

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for

Patna High Court CWJC No.11180 of 2023(2) dt.18-12-2023 3/3 redressal of their subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
