The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case in nutshell is that on 04.102020 examination for recruitment of constables in Bihar was conducted at Gulab Memorial College, Bettiah. It is further alleged that two candidates (petitioners) were managed to escape from the examination center without submitting their booklet of exam.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60143 of 2021(2) dt.11-07-2022 2/2 that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits both the petitioners are ladies and no candidates passed out without submission of their answer sheets and the alleged allegation is totally improbable. Petitioners have got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid submissions as well as the facts that both the petitioners are ladies, let the petitioners above named in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 631 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
