JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 23-05-2022 Heard learned advocate for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Case No. C2/373/2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner was found to be in possession of 180 liters of liquor. Two other persons who were accompanying him are said to have run away at the time of raid. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 05.08.2021 and does not have any criminal record. Considering the period of custody and the nature of offence against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten
