JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-08-2025 Heard Mr. Bimlesh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Rajendra Prasad Nat learned APP for the State and Mr. Abu Nasar, learned counsel for the informant.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bettiah (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 222 of 2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 136 and 96 of the BNS.

3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, petitioner allegedly eloped with the minor daughter of the informant in order to marry with her.

4. Considering the nature of allegation made in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52843 of 2025(2) dt.12-08-2025 2/2 FIR, as well as, the fact that petitioner who has just emerged as an adult and the victim is alleged to be minor and they are ready to live with each-other, the matter is referred to the learned District Court to reconcile the dispute between the petitioner and the victim by seeking cooperation of the family members, specially father and mother of the petitioner and the victim in light of the judgment passed by the Madras High Court in the case of Vijayalakshmi & Anr. vs. State Rep. by the Inspector of Police & Anr. reported in (2021) SCC OnLine Mad 317 and pass order in accordance with law.

5. The petitioner is directed to appear before the learned District Court on 19.08.2025.

6. Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case.

7. In case of failure to appear before the learned District Court, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall lose its force.

8. Accordingly, the present bail application stands disposed of.
