The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mairwa P.S. Case No. 245 of 2021, dated 20.08.2021, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

122.500 litres of beer is said to have been recovered from a vehicle which was being driven by the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 21.08.2021 and he claims to be a person of clean antecedents. Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner and the nature of accusation against him, he is
