Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Kazi Mohammadpur PS Case No.01 of 2018, registered under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that the petitioner was apprehended by the informant after a short chase while he was stealing a motorcycle and handed over to the police. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no theft was committed by the petitioner, he was apprehended merely on suspicion, the petitioner has clean antecedent, he is in custody for last three months and the police has submitted charge-sheet.

No.26707 of 2018(2) dt.04-05-2018 2/2 Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Ravi Ranjan Kumar @ Maharaja is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, (East) Muzaffarpur in connection with Kazi Mohammadpur PS Case No.01 of 2018.
