JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 22-06-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the State as also the counsel appearing for the Zila Parishad, Araria. The prayer is for quashing of the order dated 08.03.2019 vide memo no.250 issued by the Deputy Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Araria, by which direction was made to pay the amount or face consequences.
It is fairly submitted by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner as also the Zila Parishad that although four years have lapsed, the petitioner is continuing as a tenant.
As such, the petitioner will be filing a detailed representation within four weeks from today. Needless to say, if
Patna High Court CWJC No.16154 of 2019(2) dt.22-06-2023 2/2 such representation is filed, the Deputy Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Araria shall a take a decision in the matter within next six weeks keeping in mind that the petitioner is a tenant since 1998. The writ petition is accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
