The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Ekma P.S. Case No.142/2017 registered under Sections 307 and other minor Sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant named eight accused persons and alleged that they all intercepted and assaulted the informant. They also tried to kill him by wrapping turban in his neck. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Similarly situated co-accused Navin Rai, Brajesh Ray, Mithilesh Ray, Bajrang Ray and Sunil Ray have already been granted anticipatory bail vide Cr. Misc. No.3923 of 2018 and Cr. Misc. No.20044 of 2018 respectively.

No.29508 of 2018 (2) dt.18-05-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts that similarly situated coaccused have already been granted anticipatory bail and the case of the petitioner stands on same footing, the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. -1, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Ekma P.S.
