The petitioner seeks bail in connection with POCSO Case No. 63/2017 arising out of Roushanganj (Bankey Bazar) P.S. Case No. 122/2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 366(A) and 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 /12 of the POCSO Act.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 14.07.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29017 of 2020.

This Court had called for a report about the stage of the case from the court below vide order dated

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60539 of 2021(3) dt.02-02-2022 2/2 15.12.2021. The report indicates that the case is pending for final arguments for which date was fixed in the month of January, 2022.

In all its probability, the trial must have been concluded. If the same has not been concluded, it ought to be concluded positively within a period of three months.
