The petitioner seeks bail in S.T. No. 567/17 arising out of Chandramandih P.S. Case No. 66/17 instituted for the offences under Sections 323, 324, 326, 341,, 307, 302, 504, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure-1 to the present application taking into account that the petitioner is one of the assailants. A report was called for from the Trial Court. It has been reported that the trial is expected to be concluded within a period of six months.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6139 of 2021(3) dt.07-07-2021 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial at earliest preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
