In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Special Case No. 53 of 2014 arising from Khajekala P.S. Case No. 183 of 2014 registered for offence under section 20 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Allegation has been made, the Police raided a tea shop on the information that the petitioner is involved in trade of selling of Ganja. The petitioner could be able to escape from the place of occurrence but the Police recovered 200 Gm. Ganja under the steel cane.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had no connection with the tea shop and so much so, he

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39801 of 2014 (3) dt.15-04-2015 2/2 was not apprehended there.

As the matter relates to N.D.P.S., this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is rejected.
