Petitioner has filed present writ application for a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner was working as Assistant Teacher in Middle School Belaur, Udwantnagar, Bhojpur, Ara. The father of the petitioner died in harness on 14.03.2015, thereafter, petitioner has filed application for grant of compassionate appointment but the case of the petitioner is pending

Patna High Court CWJC No.14969 of 2019(2) dt.25-07-2019 2/2 consideration and till date there is no decision one way or the other by the respondents.

Considering the fact that the scheme of compassionate appointment was introduced as social security measure with a view to tide over the financial crisis faced by the family due to untimely death of bread earner the respondents are hereby directed to take appropriate decision in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
