The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 498(A), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/ 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant has instituted the present case under Section 498(A) of the I.P.C. read with other Sections of the I.P.C. and Section 3/ 4 of the D. P. Act. It is next submitted that the dispute, if any, is between the informant and her husband, but on account of the said dispute,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49930 of 2022(2) dt.17-11-2022 2/2 the entire family members including the petitioner, who is brother in-law of the informant, has also been implicated with general and omnibus allegation.

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Puraini P. S. Case No.133 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

The application stands allowed.
