2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with NCB Case No. PZU/V/12/2024 arising out of NDPS GR No. 118 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 8(C), 21©, 25 and 29 of the NDPS Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, there is recovery of 2 Kg of Heroine from the vehicle in question.
4. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52356 of 2025(4) dt.10-12-2025 2/2 13.12.2024. The petitioner is neither the driver nor the owner of the vehicle in question and the consignment was sent by a different person.
5. Learned counsel for the UOI has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner was caught on the spot having possession of 2 Kg of Heroine.
6. Considering the huge recovery of heroine, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
