The petitioner is languishing in custody since 11.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(a) of Excise Act.

From the house of the petitioner 125 litres of country made liquor and one packing machine were recovered. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the recovery has been made from the joint family house.
