Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 2.3.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 6508 of 2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly submitted that the prosecution evidence has already been closed and the case is fixed for defence evidence but the court is vacant for the last six months and no progress has been made in the case. Accordingly, this application is disposed of with direction to the learned Sessions Judge, Munger to see that the case is transferred to the running court so that the case may be disposed of within reasonable period.
