Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to file a detail representation before the Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Bihar for considering his case for payment of ACP from due date to the petitioner, who came in government service on 12.12.1994, in the light of the law laid down by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12210 of 2024(2) dt.19-08-2024 2/2 Apex Court in the case of Amresh Kumar Sinha & Ors. v. The State of Bihar & Ors., reported in 2023 SCC Online SC 496 and later on clarified by the Full Bench of this Court in case of Kamlanand Thakur vs. State of Bihar & Ors. (C.W.J.C. No. 18727 of 2017).

3. The Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Bihar must ensure to dispose of the representation of the petitioner expeditiously, in the light of the law laid down by the Apex Court.

4. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
