Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kurhni (Turki O.P.) P.S. Case No. 277 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name transpires during course of investigation.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confessional statement there is nothing against the petitioner and he has no criminal antecedent. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

No.24355 of 2018 (2) dt.03-05-2018 2/2 However, if petitioner surrenders within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order and prays for regular bail, the same shall be considered on the basis of submission, as stated above and disposed of, if possible, on the same day.
